Carlos Lee Injury Update: First Baseman Is Reinstated From The Disabled List

Houston Astros first baseman Carlos Lee has been on the disabled list since June 2 with an ankle injury that he suffered against the Cincinnati Reds. The injury occurred when Lee pulled up while running to first base and ended up having a strained left hamstring.

After being on the disabled list and missing 12 games, Lee is has been activated and could be in Sunday's lineup against the Texas Rangers. Lee has looked good in his three rehab starts where he 5-for-10 including hitting a home run in three games of action.

With Lee back in the lineup the Astros are going to send first baseman Brett Wallace down to AAA Oklahoma City.
