Astros Vs. Cardinals Series: Game 1 Preview, TV Info And More

The Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals have both experience recent struggles, so the teams look get on track in this three-game series.

Coming off all the excitement of selecting the No. 1 overall pick in the MLB draft Monday night, Houston Astros fans can get ready to root against the St. Louis Cardinals as the two teams begin three-game series at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday.

Both the Stros and Red Birds have struggled as of late, with Houston dropping eight of its last 10 games while St. Louis has seven of its last 10 games go in the other team's favor.

The Astros are 17-12 at home this season, so far. Which matches up well against the Cardinals' 15-16 road record. Lucas Harrell (4-4, 4.71 ERA) will take the mound for Houston, facing Jaime Garcia (3-3, 3.78 ERA) for St. Louis.
