Houston Astros Vs. Chicago White Sox: Preview, TV Schedule And More

Jordan Lyles gets the start for the Houston Astros on Saturday afternoon, as the Astros look to take the second game of a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox.

Houston won the first game of the 2005 World Series Rematch on Friday night, as Wandy Rodriguez scattered nine hits through five and a third innings en route to picking up the win.

Lyles will look to build on his most recent outing, in which Lyles picked up his first win of the season. So far in 2012, Lyles is 1-1 with a 4.97 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and .268 BAA through 29 innings of work.

Houston's bats, who connected for three home runs against the White Sox on Friday, will need to stay hot, as Lyles will be opposed by Chris Sale. Sale has been one of the best starting pitchers in baseball this year, with a 7-2 record to go along with a 2.30 ERA, .98 WHIP, and .193 BAA. Sale has struck out 69 batters in 66.2 innings of work, while walking only 18.

Televised coverage of the game can be found on FOX Sports Houston. First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 p.m. CT from U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.
