2012 MLB Futures Game: Astros Jonathan Singleton Has 3 Hits For Team USA

Houston Astros first baseman Jonathan Singleton was the only Astros player who participated in the Futures All-Star game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday Afternoon. Singleton current plays for the Astros Double-A affilate, and in Sunday's game he earned the start and performed well.

Singleton helped Team USA get the 17-5 win by going 3-for-4, two runs and had a RBI. His RBI came on a line drive to right field off of Ariel Pena in the sixth inning which saw the United States team score nine runs to run away to a 17-5 victory.

Singleton showed his field versatility as well by starting out at his natural spot at first base, but he was switched to play left field later in the game.
