Astros Vs. Phillies Final Score: Houston Rally To Defeat Philadelphia

The Houston Astros scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-4. Shortstop Jed Lowrie started the Astros comeback when he came to the plate as a pinch hitter where he hit a RBI double to give the Astros a 5-4 lead. The final run came when outfielder Brandon Barnes hit a RBI single to extend the Astros lead by two.

The Astros starting pitcher Lucas Harrell had a rough start where he allowed three runs, four overall, in just 5.2 innings pitched. Once Harrell left the game the Astros relief pitchers did not allow a run the rest of the way. The win went to Wesley Wright who pitched part of the eighth inning where he allowed a hit, a walk and struck out a batter.

Wilton Lopez earned his fifth save of the season by pitching the ninth inning where he continued the streak of not allowing the Phillies to cross the plate.
