Astros Vs. Phillies Game Recap: Keuchel Gets A Win As Houston Take Third Game 5-0

Dallas Keuchel earned his first win since June on Saturday as the Astros bats got going early. Jose Altuve led off the game with a single, and Justin Maxwell homered to give Houston the early lead after the first inning of play.

The Astros would add another run in the second, and Keuchel would help his own cause in the fourth. He'd single to lead off the inning before a Brett Wallace ground rule double brought him home. J.D. Martinez would drive in the final Astros run of the game, bringing home Jason Castro in the sixth.

Keuchel finally got a win, but he didn't look great doing it. He went 5.1 innings, allowing five hits and walking four. He wouldn't strike out any batters, but he wouldn't allow any runs either. Mickey Storey, Xavier Cedeno, Hector Ambriz and Wesley Wright were excellent out of the bullpen, allowing only three more baserunners in their 3.2 innings of relief work.

The Astros and Phillies will conclude the four game series on Sunday, as Roy Halladay pitches for the Phillies against Jordan Lyles of the Astros. The game is scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m CT.
