Scott Moore and Carlos Corporan homered to pace Houston's offense, and the Astros rallied for a come-from-behind win over the cooling Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday at Minute Maid Park.
Moore hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the third to give Houston a 2-1 lead. Trailing 4-2 in the sixth, Corporan hit a solo homer. The Astros took the lead for good in the seventh on a two-run double by Justin Maxwell and an RBI single by Matt Dominguez. The Phillies scored two runs in the top of the eighth, but 7-6 was as close as they would get.
Wesley Wright picked up the win for the Astros. Wright pitched a perfect inning of relief and struck out one. Wilton Lopez eared his sixth save by allowing a walk and a hit in 1⅔ innings.
Antonio Bastardo took the loss for Philadelphia, giving up two runs -- one earned -- in a third of an inning. After winning eight of their first 10 games in September, the Phillies have now lost three of four.
