The Houston Astros are coming off their second series win in three weeks heading into Monday's three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Astros lost on Sunday, 8-1, yet are 5-5 in their last ten games and continue to attempt to find some positive momentum heading into the offseason.
While the Astros have a firm hold on the worst record in baseball, the Cardinals come to Houston attempting to hold onto one of the two spots in the National League Wild Card race. St. Louis currently holds a 2-1/2 game lead over the Milwaukee Brewers and won two of three games in Chicago this past weekend.
