Cougars Bounced By Ralston Turner, LSU

Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) – Ralston Turner scored 15 points to lead the LSU Tigers to a 73-57 victory over the Houston Cougars in a non-league affair at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Andre Stringer added 13 points for LSU (5-2), while Storm Warren posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Adam Brown netted 15 points for Houston (4-3), while Kendrick Washington chipped in 10 points off the bench.

The Tigers shot 56.7 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a 38-28 lead.

In the second stanza, LSU connected on 15-of-18 attempts from the foul line, en route to the 16-point victory.

The Tigers shot 50.0 percent from the field in the contest, while Houston posted a 39.7 percent shooting effort.
