2011 Bowl Projections, Week 11: Houston To Liberty Bowl, Texas A&M To Insight Bowl

Houston is expected to go to the Liberty Bowl as Texas A&M is slotted for the Insight Bowl

The Houston Cougars are nearing the top 10 of the BCS, but the odds are extremely long for them to reach one of the five coveted big money games. Houston is heading the course to becoming the Conference USA champion and that bowl spot is the Liberty Bowl, and is the most likely destination for Houston.

As for the Texas A&M Aggies, they are in a major tailspin and are currently sitting at only five wins and should become bowl eligible once they play the Kansas Jayhawks in two weeks, but nothing is certain. The other two opponents Texas A&M faces is the Kansas St. Jayhawks who are ranked in the top-25 and then the surging Texas Longhorns who are also ranked. With the downward spiral for Texas A&M they will be heading to a low end bowl game.

Here are bowl projections for both Houston and Texas A&M:

AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Dec. 31, 2011

Houston vs. Mississippi State

Insight Bowl, Dec. 30, 2011

Texas A&M vs. Ohio State
