UTSA Vs. Houston: Cougars Look to Snap Two-Game Losing Streak Against Roadrunners

The Houston Cougars look to break a two-game losing streak when they host the UTSA Roadrunners on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET.

The University of Texas San Antonio (5-4) men's basketball team travels East to face the Houston Cougars (4-5) for an 8 p.m. ET game in Hofheinz Pavilion. The Cougars are currently riding a two-game losing streak which they'll look to break against the Roadrunners.

The Cougars are led by sophomore forward Alandise Harris, who is averaging 14.9 points per game, and Jonathon Simmons, a junior forward averaging 14.3 points per game. The Roadrunners are led by a pair of junior guards. Kannon Burrage leads the team with 16.2 points per game, and Michael Hale III is right behind with 12.3 points per game.

Houston started the season by winning three straight games but they've lost five of their last six. UTSA is 5-4 on the season but two of their four losses came in overtime.

The Roadrunners are currently in first place in the Southland Conference Western Division and the Cougars are currently in first place in ninth place in Conference USA.

ESPN's Insider game prediction has the Cougars winning a close game against the Roadrunners by a score of 72-71 and has the Cougars winning 51.9 percent of 1,000 simulated games.
