The Houston Dynamo in general and Mike Chabala in particular are promoting the "Bald Is Beautiful" campaign for this week's game against Chivas USA. Money raised is going towards children's cancer research and shaved heads will be a sign of solidarity with those that have no choice in the matter.
↵Chabala had his head shaved yesterday morning on FOX 26. The rest of the participating Dynamo players got shaved at a separate event: boy they look lovely!
↵If you let the Dynamo shave your head on Saturday, not only will they give you a free dinner and a ticket to the game, they'll also get a free t-shirt. They don't say what the t-shirt is, so don't get your hopes up too much, because I've caught a Hooters shirt at a Dynamo game before. But hey, it is a free t-shirt, and you can never argue with that.
