Reigning CONCACAF champions Monterrey are headed to Houston in just ten days for a friendly against the two-time MLS Cup Champions Houston Dynamo. Today the Mexican club announced its traveling roster for the match (but is subject to change based on Monterrey's weekend match against Santos Laguna). The Dynamo will host Monterrey at Robertson Stadium on Sunday, September 4, at 8 p.m.

Monterrey's roster is highlighted by Chilean forward Humberto Suazo, who scored 21 goals in Mexican league play in 2010-11 and added four goals in the CONCACAF Champions League as Monterrey took the regional title. Other key names include several players with Mexican national team experience, including Monterrey captain Luis Ernesto Pérez, defender Ricardo Osorio, and forward Sergio Santana. Only three players are missing due to international call-ups.

Monterrey:
Goalkeepers (2): Juan de Dios Ibarra, Jonathan Orozco

Defenders (8): José María Basanta, Darvin Chávez, Oscar García, Eduardo Guevara, Severo Meza, Hiram Mier, Miguel Morales, Ricardo Osorio

Midfielders (5): Neri Cardozo, Jesús Corona, César Francisco de la Peña, Luis Ernesto Pérez, Marvin Piñón

Forwards (4): Darío Carreño, Cesar Delgado, Sergio Santana, Humberto Suazo
