The Houston Dynamo's 1-0 victory over the D.C. United on Saturday was the team's first win in their new home venue, BBVA Compass Stadium. Their victory was also their first win since their 1-0 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes in mid-March.
The Dynamo have 11 points and are tied for seventh place in the Eastern conference with the Columbus Crew. Houston is only one point behind the New England Revolution and Montreal Impact who have 12 points and are tied for fifth place.
This week, Houston (3-3-2) has a chance to move up in the standings with a home game against the Portland Timbers (2-5-2) on Tuesday, the worst team in the Western conference and then a road game against the New England Revolution (4-6-0) on Saturday.
After playing its first seven first games on the road, waiting for BBVA Compass Stadium to open, the Dynamo will have three of its next four games at home.
