Dynamo's Geoff Cameron In Starting Lineup Against D.C. United, Transfer To Stoke City Still In Negotiations

Reports about Houston Dynamo sending Geoff Cameron to Stoke City have been changing by the moment, and there was a report prior to the weekend saying that a deal was done.

However, Cameron was in the starting lineup for the Dynamo Sunday night as they are taking on D.C. United. Cameron had asked to be held out the teams prior two games due to a hamstring injury, but he made himself available to play midfielder instead of his normal center back position.

With Cameron in the lineup it means that there is no deal in place between the MLS and Stoke City. The main hold up is the transfer fee that Stoke City is to pay for Cameron. Reports are that the two sides are about $1 million apart.

Currently the game is at the half and the Dynamo are leading D.C. United 2-0.
