The Houston Dynamo will return home and attempt to snap a five-game winless slide as they take on Real Salt Lake at BBVA Compass Stadium on Thursday night.
The Dynamo (11-7-9), who are battling for a playoff spot, trail Sporting Kansas City by eight points in the MLS Eastern Conference standings. The club will try to match the second-longest home unbeaten streak in MLS history against Salt Lake (14-10-4), which is winless in the club's eight trips to Houston.
The Dynamo will also be missing have players for this game -- Boniek Garcia, Andre Hainault, Jermaine Taylor and Je-Vaughn Watson -- as they're away for international duty in World Cup qualifying matches. Salt Lake will be without their leading scorer, Alvaro Saborio, as well as midfielders Will Johnson and Kyle Beckerman.
The match is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on FSH Plus.
