No one is quite sure what Battier does well. He's not a prolific scorer, good shooter or strong rebounder. But no one can put a finger on what he does poorly, either. The Dookie impacts the bottom line like few non-All-Stars can.
I'll take Battier - he's a hustler all right - but I do wish that Kyle Lowry could have claimed the point guard spot. Clearly, Rajon Rondo, the eventual choice, has won the hustle hearts of thousands after chasing down an aged, apathetic Jason Williams in order to give the Celtics the ball back during a playoff game.
↵Lowry makes Rondo look... better at basketball. But Lowry tries harder. He really does.
