Yao Will Not Go On Road Trip, "Earliest He Could Be Back" On Monday

The Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen reports that Rockets C Yao Ming’s strained tendon will sideline him through at least November 22nd, when the Rockets take on the Suns.

Boy, I really hate that phrase “earliest he could be back,” I don’t want to read too far into this, but I’m thinking the normal case scenario could put Yao on track to miss another week or so if that’s the earliest he could be back. As always, we’ll keep you informed on the latest Yao injury news. The Rockets will take on the Bulls tonight without him.
