Rockets.com’s Jason Friedman, in a series of tweets, reports that Rockets C Yao Ming’s foot was examined and it was determined that he has a bone bruise on his left ankle. This injury will sideline him at least two more weeks, which means more bad times for Rockets fans everywhere.
The Rockets are again using that term “At Least,” here, so don’t be surprised if Yao continues to sit out longer than you would think he would. If he made it back on the two week timetable, the next game he’d play in would be December 2nd against the Grizzlies. However, as always with Yao, things can turn quickly, so stay tuned for more updates. The Rockets will take on the Raptors tonight without him.
