Southwest Division results
Dallas Mavericks 106, Miami Heat 97 — The Mavericks easily dispatched the Heat on Saturday night, riding a huge third quarter run to a lead that wouldn’t be relinquished. Miami’s non-big 3 combined for just 20 points and even though the Heat were able to slow down Dirk Nowitzki, Shawn Marion and Juan Jose Barea came up big off the bench with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Cleveland Cavaliers 92, Memphis Grizzlies 86 — Memphis’ lack of aggression hurt them in an otherwise even statistical matchup. The Cavaliers got to the line 11 more times, sinking six more free throws, which is identical to the difference in the final score. Mo Williams led the Cavs with 21 points, while Zach Randolph was just 6-16 for the Grizzlies.
