Aaron Brooks Leaves Game After Rolling Ankle

New, 1 comment

Aaron Brooks left the Rockets game in San Antonio after rolling his ankle after a halfcourt buzzer beater attempt. He was clearly in a lot of pain and was carried off the court arm-in-arm by the Rockets training staff.

More on Brooks' injury as it becomes available.

EDIT: Rockets.com's Jason Friedman reports that Brooks has left for x-rays on his ankle and will not return to the game. Ish Smith is starting the second half at point guard for the Rockets.

EDIT 2: ClutchFans has the video available. Not for the squeamish.

EDIT 3: Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports that x-rays on Brooks ankle were negative. Now it appears to be a matter of the sprain diagnosis.
