Chuck Hayes Turns Ankle In Practice, Goes For X-Rays

According to Rockets.com’s Jason Friedman, Rockets center Chuck Hayes is going for x-rays after stepping awkwardly on a teammates foot near the end of practice.

The Rockets erstwhile defensive leader is averaging six points and 5.9 rebounds in about 20 minutes a game this season. If he’s sidelined for any length of time, Jordan Hill will probably get more minutes and the Rockets will probably have to use him and Brad Miller as a pure tandem at center.

We’ll keep you updated about the severity of the injury while we pray that the Rockets can find some shoes that keep their players from rolling their ankles on the court.
