Orlando, FL (Sports Network) – Jason Richardson and Brandon Bass each scored 18 points to lead the Orlando Magic to their eighth straight win, a 110-95 drubbing of the suddenly struggling Houston Rockets.
Richardson went 7-for-8 from the field and Bass grabbed nine rebounds for the Magic, who shot 73-percent from the field in the third quarter to turn a three-point halftime lead into a rout.
Ryan Anderson scored all 16 of his points in the second half, while Dwight Howard chipped in 13 points and 11 caroms for the victors.
The Rockets have lost all four of their games in January after an 11-4 stretch in December. Kevin Martin led the way in another losing effort with 27 points.
