The Odds Makers Aren't Showing The Houston Rockets Any Love

Recently the odds makers at Bovada released their odds for each team and their chances to win the 2012 Western Conference championship. Based on their rankings of teams, the Houston Rockets would be projected to finish outside the playoff hunt and tied for 9th with the Utah Jazz.

Would've been nice to have Nene or Pau Gasol on the squad, huh?

Here are the odds for each team's chances to win 2012 NBA Western Conference. Couple of key questions we all need to ask:

Are the Los Angeles Lakers really still the team to beat in the West?

Aren't the Dallas Mavericks being slightly disrespected being ranked third?

With half of their roster in China, are we sure the Denver Nuggets will be any good?

Los Angeles Lakers 2/1

Oklahoma City Thunder 3/1

Dallas Mavericks 4/1

Los Angeles Clippers 7/1

Memphis Grizzlies 14/1

Portland Trailblazers 16/1

San Antonio Spurs 18/1

Denver Nuggets 30/1

Houston Rockets 35/1

Phoenix Suns 35/1

Utah Jazz 50/1

Golden State Warriors 50/1

Minnesota Timberwolves 75/1

New Orleans Hornets 75/1

Sacramento Kings 75/1
