Rockets Playoff Chances Slipping Away

Final Score: Philadelphia 108, Houston 97

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – Jrue Holiday continued his progression as a threat both scoring and distributing, logging 24 points and 12 assists to carry the Philadelphia 76ers closer to the playoffs with a 108-97 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Thaddeus Young came off the bench and posted 22 points and nine rebounds, while Spencer Hawes and Jodie Meeks each netted 12 points for the Sixers, who were coming off Monday’s upset win in Chicago.

Kyle Lowry led the Rockets with 19 points, but the club’s second loss in three games put it further back of Memphis for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
