Well, the NBA has managed to release the complete regular season schedule for next year, and the Rockets will be playing on opening night November 1st.
↵In Utah. What a bummer, don't all Rockets fans hate the Jazz more than the rest of the league combined? Even without Jerry Sloan, I can't stand Kirilenko and the rest of that team. Some of the schedule highlights:
↵- Houston kicks off the year with a back-to-back on the West Coast, Utah on November 1st followed by a game in Sacramento against the Kings.
↵- The Rockets' home opener is November 5th, also against the Jazz.
↵- The Rockets will be playing in their first ESPN game on November 9th on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers.
↵- They also have a nationally televised ESPN2 game on November 25th in Minnesota against the T-Wolves.
↵According to this NBA.com schedule, those are the only two ESPN games all year for the Rockets. They're both on the road and both in November. Is something wrong here? I know the Rockets don't have any real superstars this year, but that's ridiculous.
↵Christmas Day games: Celtics at Knicks, Heat at Mavericks, and Bulls at Lakers.
