Rockets Vs. Bobcats: Game Preview, TV Info And More

Houston's schedule gets lighter as they travel to Charlotte looking for their first road win of the season.

After a rough week that included four games against the elite of the Western Conference, including a home-and-home series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, a reeling Houston Rockets team will try to get their first road win of the season against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Charlotte, at 2-7 with a -10.9 point differential, is beginning what could be a long rebuilding process under new GM Rich Cho, but they have enough talent to surprise teams, as they've already surprised the New York Knicks at home.

The Bobcats, who give up 104.1 points a night, don't play much defense on the perimeter or the interior, which could mean a big game for rising star PG Kyle Lowry, one of the few bright spots of Houston's early season. Lowry is averaging 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 10.0 assists so far.

He'll be matched up against two of the smallest PG's in the NBA in former Texas standout DJ Augustin and Connecticut rookie Kemba Walker.

The 6:00 PM game will be broadcast regionally on Fox Sports Houston.
