The Houston Rockets have won eight of their last nine games and could be without injured shooting guard Kevin Martin for the second straight when they host the New York Knicks on Saturday night. The Rockets routed the Washington Wizards 103-76 on Friday without Martin who sat out with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
As hot as the Rockets have been of late, the Knicks have been as cold as ice. New York has lost eight of its last nine games and dropped a 99-89 decision to Miami Friday night in a game in which they launched 43 three-point attempts. The Knicks will be without Carmelo Anthony for the second straight game who is out with a variety of ailments.
The Rockets have won 12 of the last 13 meetings against the Knicks and carry a six-game home winning streak into tonight's game.
