The Houston Rockets couldn't overcome a huge third quarter by the Minnesota Timberwolves and went on to lose 120-108. Minnesota outscored Houston 42-25 in the third quarter behind an exceptional night off the bench from Michael Beasley who finished with 34 points.
Kevin Martin also had a solid return to the Rockets lineup after sitting out the last two games with a heel injury. Martin finished with 29 points on 9-15 shooting in the game. Chase Budinger added 13 points off the bench and Kyle Lowry finished in double figures with 11 points.
Beasley hit 10-14 shots and all 12 of his free throw attempts to score his 34 points. Kevin Love added 29 points and Ricky Rubio added 18 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. The Timberwolves hit 28-31 free throw attempts in the game.
