The Houston Rockets moved to 3-3 after splitting a pair of games this weekend, as the Rockets lost to the Memphis Grizzles on Friday night, before defeating the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
Houston dropped to 2-3 with its 93-85 loss in Memphis on Friday. Though it may be of little consolation to Houston fans, the Grizzles have been perhaps the NBA's hottest team, winning five straight contests -- including a win on Sunday over the Miami Heat.
Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph led the way for Memphis, as Gay scored a game-high 21 points while Zach Randolph grabbed 14 rebounds.
Houston improved to 3-3 on Saturday, after defeating the Pistons in Houston, 96-82. James Harden led all scorers with 20 points, while Jeremy Lin dished out eight assists in the win.
Despite a .500 record, the Rockets find themselves in last place in the Southwest division, trailing the San Antonio Spurs (6-1), Memphis Grizzles (5-1), New Orleans Hornets (3-2), and Dallas Mavericks (4-3).
