The NBA games that catch the eye this week include a battle between two revamped ball clubs and another between the consistent titans of the league.
The San Antonio Spurs get to see it all. On Monday, Gregg Popovich's team faces the deep and talented Los Angeles Clippers before heading to New England to face perennial contenders in the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Also of note on Wednesday's schedule is a meeting between the Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Tuesday's feature game is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets – two teams that were greatly restructured in the offseason. The Lakers, with or without head coach Mike D'Antoni, have already proven that his fingerprint has been placed on the offense, and it will be a task for the Nets, who are still working to fit their many new pieces together.
The Houston Rockets have two games before Thanksgiving. They'll play the Jazz in Utah on Monday night before hosting the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Monday 9 p.m. ET | Rockets | Jazz | CSH | EnergySolutions Arena |
Wednesday 8 p.m. ET | Bulls | Rockets | CSC | Toyota Center |
