The Houston Rockets used a 16-4 run late in the second quarter against the New York Knicks, and now lead 72-57 at the half. Chandler Parsons is leading the way for Houston by scoring 26 points on 11 of 13 shooting. Parsons is having a great game overall as he has four rebounds, three steals, a block and two assists.
James Harden is right behind Parsons in scoring with 25 points, and Harden has made his mark at the free throw line where he has made all 15 of his shots. Jeremy Lin, taking on the Knicks for the first time since signing with Houston, has 10 points headed into the half.
The Knicks are led by Carmelo Anthony who has 24 points, and is the only person to have double digits for New York. The Rockets defense has been able to hold the Knicks to 45 percent shooting from the field, plus they have forced eight turnovers.
The difference so far in this game is that the Rockets are shooting better than the Knicks by making 53 percent of their shots, and they have made it to the free throw line seven more times than the Knicks.
