NBA scores: Rockets win only game of weekend

The Houston Rockets won their only game over the weekend, but couldn't gain any divisional ground as both the Spurs and Grizzlies went undefeated as well.

The Houston Rockets are in the midst of a four-day break between games, but they made the most of their last outing. In their only game of the weekend, the Rockets were able to take down the New York Knicks on Friday, 131-103. James Harden scored 33 points in the win, with Carmelo Anthony's 37 points leading the Knicks in a game that featured a flashy scoreline and very little defense from either side.

While it moved them closer to .500, the Rockets will still have some work to do if they want to boost their stock in the Southwest Division. Even with the win, they are still 6-7 and 4 1/2 games back of the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs.

Both the Spurs and Grizzlies went undefeated over the weekend, as well. Memphis played only one game, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 106-98. San Antonio took a 104-97 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday and followed up with a 111-106 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Houston will have to wait until Nov. 27 to play again, when they face the Raptors.
