The Houston Rockets' up-and-down start to the season continued Wednesday night when the team's three-game winning streak was snapped on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 120-98.
The loss came a day after the Rockets (7-8) got a home win over the Toronto Raptors, 117-101. Houston is off until Saturday, when they host the Utah Jazz.
Houston, still trying to find a rhythm while starting shooting guard James Harden has barely been on the team a month, has proven to be streaky in the season's early stages. The team's recent three-game winning streak was preceded by a three-game losing streak, already their second such stretch of losses through the season's first 15 games.
Harden was held to 17 points against his former team in OKC Wednesday night. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year missed his first nine shots as the Thunder cruised to the win.
