The Houston Rockets defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 125-103, behind James Harden's 33 points on Wednesday night in Houston.
Philadelphia could do little to stop the Rockets' offense, as Houston scored 69 points in the second half and shot 56% from the field on the night. In addition to the hot shooting performance, Harden paraded to the free-throw line throughout the game, his 17-18 performance from the charity stripe equaling the free throws made by the Sixers as a team.
Toney Douglas supplemented Harden's night off the bench by shooting 5-8 from the three-point line en route to a 17-point night. Omer Asik added 17 points while grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds.
The Sixers were led by Nick Young and Dorell Wright, who combined for 41 points in 75 minutes off the bench.
The Rockets moved above .500 to 13-12 and will host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Philadelphia returns home Friday to play the Atlanta Hawks.
