The Houston Rockets (9-8) will play on back-to-back nights this weekend against two Southwest Division foes, first taking on the San Antoinio Spurs on Friday and then heading home to welcome the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening. The Rockets are coming off a big 107-105 win over the Lakers on Tuesday night.

The Spurs (15-4) remain one of the NBA's hottest teams and are 7-1 in their past eight games, including a 110-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. The Mavericks (9-10), meanwhile, have struggled without star Dirk Nowitzki offensively as well as defensively and are working to find the optimum lineup to put on the floor.

Also on the slate this weekend is a big tilt between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. CT. The Southwest Division leading Memphis Grizzlies are also playing on back-to-back nights, taking on the New Orleans Hornets on Friday evening before heading home to face the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
