The Houston Rockets built an early lead but were unable to hold it as the San Antonio Spurs answered with a huge second half to win 99-91. The Rockets led 52-39 at halftime but the Spurs outscored Houston 60-39 in the second half to claim the victory.
Kevin Martin once again had a big night for the Rockets finishing with 29 points on 10-21 shooting from the floor. Martin also grabbed nine rebounds, handed out four assists and was 6-11 from three-point range. Kyle Lowry and Courtney Lee each chipped in 15 points while Patrick Patterson added 10.
Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 25 points and seven rebounds in just 30 minutes of action. Duncan hit 9-12 field goal attempts and was 7-10 from the charity stripe. Tony Parker added 24 points and Gary Neal scored 15 off the bench.
The Rockets fall to 12-10 overall and 3-7 on the road. San Antonio is now 14-9 and a dominating 11-1 at home on the season.
