Rockets Vs. Raptors Final Score: Houston Holds On For 88-85 Win Over Toronto

The Houston Rockets jumped out to an early first-quarter lead and then spent the rest of the game holding on for an 88-85 win over the Toronto Raptors. Things got interesting late in the fourth quarter with Toronto whittling the Houston lead all the way down to 85-83 with just 55 seconds remaining.

However in the closing seconds, Chandler Parsons came up with a key offensive rebound, Kevin Martin made three of four free throws and Linas Kleiza missed a three-point attempt that would have tied the game and likely sent it to overtime.

Kyle Lowry led the way for the Rockets with 26 points and five assists. Luis Scola logged a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds while Kevin Martin did most of his damage late with 14 points. Samuel Dalembert added 10 points and a couple of blocks for Houston.

DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points to lead Toronto and was followed by James Johnson's 16. Leandro Barbosa added 11 points off the bench while Amir Johnson finished with 10.
