Rockets Vs. Timberwolves: Houston Can Not Overcome Poor First Half, Lose 100-91

The Rockets were unable to recover from a poor first half against the Timberwolves to fall to 3-8 on the road.

Playing three games in four nights has caught up to the Houston Rockets as they are not able to keep up with the Minnesota Timberwolves in their 100-91 loss. The Rockets have been terrible on the road this year and fell to 3-8 away from the Toyota Center. The Timberwolves came out strong in the first half and led by 13 at the break.

The Rockets made a minor run in the third quarter to cut the Timberwolves lead to single digits, but they never were able to get any closer than seven points in the second half. Scoring was not a problem for the Rockets at all in this game as Luis Scola and Kyle Lowry each had 24 points and two others scored in double figures, but it was that the Timberwolves were able to make nine more free throws and four more three-point shots.

The Timberwolves also had five players score in double figures with two players scoring 20-plus points with Kevin Love leading the way with 25 and Luke Ridnour scoring 22.
