NBA Power Rankings 2012: How Will The Rockets Respond From Getting Stomped?

After winning seven straight games in the month of January, the Houston Rockets have officially come back to earth. Kyle Lowry has cooled off a bit, the frontcourt of the Rockets have slowed in recent weeks and Kevin McHale's team officially has "a book" on them by the rest of the team.

SB Nation's Tom Ziller has the Rockets ranked No. 17 in this week's NBA Power Rankings, should they be that low?

Kyle Lowry was a monster to start the season, and Kevin Martin's scoring has come around. Samuel Dalembert proved to be a nice addition in the middle. But beyond that, all four of the 2009 lottery picks Houston has taken a flyer on over the past year have continued to bust.

The Rockets will face the Denver Nuggets on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. Central time.
