The Houston Rockets are without point guard Kyle Lowry for tonight's matchup with the New Jersey Nets. Lowry is in still in the hospital after have an abdominal diagnostic laparoscopic procedure after experiencing fever and abdominal pain. He is officially listed as day-to-day but there is no indication for when he might be able to return to the lineup.
Goran Dragic got the start in Lowry's place Saturday night against the Nets who are also without their starting point guard in Deron Williams. The Rockets can ill-afford to lose Lowry for any length of time and especially in the midst of their current five-game losing streak. Lowry has emerged as one of the better point guards in the Western Conference averaging 15.9 points, 7.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game.
