Kyle Lowry's illness has been a mystery thus far but the Rockets learned today that they would be without their point guard for 2-4 weeks with a bacterial infection.

Lowry had an abdominal diagnostic laparoscopic procedure earlier this week and remains in the hospital. Goran Dragic has started in place of Lowry and had 20 points and eight assists in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lowry has been a bright spot for the Rockets this season averaging 15.9 points, 7.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. Lowry's injury has meant more playing time for Jonny Flynn who is now Dragic's backup.
