NBA Trade Rumors: Rockets Out On Bogut, Warriors, Bucks Agree To Trade

Ahh, so many trade dreams are dying for the Rockets tonight. First, Houston gets competition for Pau Gasol and then, Andrew Bogut disappears off the market less than 24 hours after he was originally linked to the Rockets.

Here's the long and short of the trade, via SB Nation:

The Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors have dropped the first bombshell two days before the NBA's trade deadline, completing a blockbuster move that will send Andrew Bogut to Golden State and Monta Ellis to Milwaukee, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnaroski. The Bucks will also receive promising young center Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown, while the Warriors will take back Stephen Jackson and his $10 million contract for next year.

Jackson, in case you weren't aware, is from Port Arthur, so he's nominally a Houston-area guy. It would have been fun to see him come home in a potential Rockets-Bucks deal, but I guess he'll have to settle for going back to Golden State.

I can also categorically say that Houston's package of Courtney Lee and Samuel Dalembert was nowhere near this good. C'est la vie.
