Rockets Vs. Clippers Final Score: Houston Has A Third Quarter Lapse, Ultimately Fall To Los Angeles, 95-91

Being down to nine active players did not seem to bother the Houston Rockets as they led the Los Angeles Clippers by eight at the half. In the third quarter it all caught up to Houston as their eight-point lead evaporated as the Clippers went on an 18-5 run early in the third quarter and eventually outscored the Rockets 30-19.

The Rockets trailed 69-66 heading into the fourth quarter and did comeback to go up 83-78 with 4:33 left in the game and 89-87 with 1:19 left, but the Rockets could not hold onto the lead. The Clippers free throw shooting is what put them over the edge down the stretch by making all eight of their attempts.

The Rockets had four players in double figures with Courtney Lee leading the way with 25 points.
