Rockets Vs. Nuggets Halftime Score: Houston Leads Denver 54-51

Kevin Martin is on his way to a career night for the Houston Rockets as he has 20 points so far and is the key reason that the Rockets are leading 54-51 at halftime over the Denver Nuggets. Marting has is 5-of-8 from the field with a pair of three-pointers, but he also has been agressive in getting to the free throw line and is 8-of-9. Luis Scola is the other Houston player in double figures with 10 points.

The Rockets tried to extend their lead late in the second half, but every time they got up by four points, the Nuggets would come back with a quick burst of three or four straight points to get right back in this game.

The Nuggets are being stifled by the Rockets defense and are being held to 34 percent shooting on the night, but they have been able to hang around by getting to the free throw line and made 15-of-23. Kenneth Faried and Andre Miller are pacing the Nuggets with 10 points each.
