Rockets Vs. Nuggets Final Score: Houston's Offense Can Not Keep Up In Second Half, Lose 117-105

Kevin Martin led all players with 35 points, but it was not enough for the Houston Rockets who lost 117-105 to the Denver Nuggets. The Rockets offense did play well with four players scoring in double digits, but it was no match for the Nuggets who had seven players in double digits with Ty Lawson scoring with 22 points, dishing out 15 assists and grabbing seven rebounds. The Nuggets were able to get the win over the Rockets even though they were missing Nene, Danilo Gallinari , Chris Andersen and Rudy Fernandez,

The Rockets had a three point halftime lead, but the second half is where the Nuggets were able to come back and then take the lead for good by out rebounding the Rockets, and more importantly putting up 21 more shots which gave the Nuggets that many more scoring chances. What also helped the Nuggets is that Arron Afflalo scored 16 of his 17 points in the second half and a 15-5 run in the third quarter to put just enough distance between them and the Rockets.

The loss drops the Rockets to 21-16 on the year.
