With the Western Conference being so tight every game is so important at this point, and a win by the Houston Rockets could propel them to the No. 4 spot in the West while a loss will drop them out of the playoff race. Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks the Rockets are trailing 56-54 at the half.
The Rockets are still without starting guard Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry, but Goran Dragic has stepped up and tonight he is the teams leading scorer with 14 points at the half on 3-of-6 shooting all from three-point range. The offense for the Rockets tonight is a balanced attack with four other players with at least nine points and center Samuel Dalembert has 12 points.
The Mavericks offense is shooting a bit better as they are shooting 51 percent and are being led by Dirk Nowitzki who has 16 points and is the only Maverick player in double figures,
