Rockets Vs. Celtics: Houston Rockets Begin Five-Game Road Trip In Boston

The Houston Rockets take their losing streak on the road.

The Houston Rockets start their five-game road trip on a three-game losing skid, while heading to face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.

Houston fell big to the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets before losing narrowly to the Los Angeles Clippers in overtime on Sunday. By contrast, the aging Boston Celtics haven't let trade rumors surrounding All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo keep them from rattling off four straight wins, with the most recent coming in an overtime thriller against the New York Knicks.

In that game, Rondo went for an all-time triple-double, recording 18 points, 20 assists and 17 rebounds. Rondo is only one of three players in NBA history to record such a stat line, along with Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain.

This is the only meeting between the Rockets and Celtics this season. For Houston, Kevin Martin still leads the team in scoring with 18.2 points a game, while Kyle Lowry is averaging 15.8 points a game with 7.5 assists and 1.9 steals a game.
