Kyle Lowry Injury: Houston Guard To Have MRI For For Apparent Ankle Injury

Houston Rockets point guard Kyle Lowry notified fans via his Twitter feed that he was having an MRI on an apparent ankle injury.

If a five-game losing streak and falling out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference wasn't enough bad news for the Houston Rockets now comes the news that point guard Kyle Lowry will have an MRI that is reportedly on his ankle. Lowry was as vague with his two tweets from his official Twitter feed as he could be.

Lowry played just 24 minutes in the Rockets 116-98 blow out loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. There was no mention of any injury to Lowry following the game but it appears that something is up. Houston can ill-afford to lose Lowry who is averaging 15.9 points, 7.2 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.
