The Houston Rockets aren't having a very good week, since they had a playoff spot in their grasp just several days ago before dropping four straight games to fall out of the picture, though not entirely.
In the latest NBA Power Rankings, the Rockets are ranked 17th in the league, and that's just because there are plenty of bad teams in the NBA to make one forget about the type of collapse that's going on in Houston right now.
SB Nation NBA writer Tom Ziller had this to say in the rankings:
"How to lose your playoff spot in four games: register four losses in six days to the three teams you are competing with for a spot. What a painful week for the Rockets."
Houston sits in the rankings between the Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Jazz in the rankings.
